The Glendronach, one of Scotland’s oldest licensed distilleries, has unveiled the first expression in the ultra-premium core range to debut the refreshed visual identity since the landmark restaging in 2024. While the packaging reflects the brand’s elevated new look, the whisky itself, which is aged for a minimum of 21 years, remains unchanged - a hallmark of The Glendronach’s unwavering commitment to its heritage and sherry cask mastery.

Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Andalucía, Spain, The Glendronach Aged 21 Years is a richly layered and full-bodied Highland Single Malt, celebrated for its depth and complexity. Bottled at 48% ABV and presented with its natural cask-imparted colour, this expression delivers an enveloping mouthfeel, telling a story of bold duality, where robust Highland spirit meets the warmth of Spanish flair in a crescendo of sherry richness unlike any other.

The palate is a revelation: layers of fine sherry and bitter chocolate sauce unfold over nutmeg and ginger-baked Victoria plum pudding, delivering both depth and indulgence.”

The 2024 visual restaging marked a new chapter for the historic distillery, incorporating elevated packaging and a creative campaign led by celebrated Scottish-born photographer and director Rankin. The design evolution reflects the richness and depth of the spirit itself. Celebrating nearly 200 years of craftsmanship, The Glendronach continues to draw on traditional methods and exceptional cask sourcing to craft some of the richest Highland Single Malts in the world. The Aged 21 Years expression, bottled at 48% ABV and presented with only its natural cask-imparted colour, is a true embodiment of that legacy; rich, refined, and expressive.

The Glendronach Aged 21 Years will launch in June 2025, with wider global availability expected throughout the year. Later in the year, 30 and 40-Year-Old expressions will also be revealed in the new design, completing the ultra-premium collection’s transformation
